The University of Pittsburgh's Office of Government Relations and Advocacy maintains relationships with all levels of government, including Federal, Commonwealth, County, and City, through collaboration, communication, and facilitation of University engagement with its broader communities. Government Relations is responsive, policy awareness, and issue based activity together by bridging internal and external stakeholders to forge new collaborations.

Government Relations

Government Relations and Advocay acts as the liasion between the University and elected officials at all levels, building awarenss about the impactful work happening at Pitt. At City and County, State, and Federal levels of government, Government Relations communicates how Pitt is leveraging research and knowledge for society's gain.
